Will she survive?

The neighbors finally took that sweet little lady to their new house.

When I woke up the other morning I was going to say Hi to that pretty pup, Her cage door was open and everyone was gone. They finally moved out.

Every day, I said Hi and good night to her. I was the only person talking to her sometimes for days. I felt bad for her. No one spoke to her, pet her, or barely ever looked her way. Even when the kids went outside to play they did not want anything to do with her.

From what I could see once she stopped making them money by having babies for them to sell, they wanted nothing to do with her.

I treat dogs like they have feelings and believe they get sad and hurt inside. They say dogs get depressed over the loss of their best friend. I so wish I could have kept her.

The last few days before they came to take her. I had been feeding her morning and night. They would come to do yard work but would not give her clean water and no food. I do not even think they said Hi to her. I felt so bad for her. This is why I spoke to her every day. During the day I would call to get her attention to tell her she is a good girl.

I’m concerned about her future living in the wild on her own. They won’t keep her caged at her new home, and she’s not a large dog. She resembles the one in the picture…
