A Day at the Farm Festival
Exploring Antique Tractors, Pancakes, and Memories.
Wisconsin is a big farming state, known for its cheese. There are many things to do in the summer, from car shows to tractor shows, and much more. We like to take advantage of these events yearly because my husband, having worked on dairy farms for many years, knows a lot about tractors.
We saw a lot of antique tractors. There was also a flea market with rows filled with many vendors selling everything from new to old treasures — a fun place to go for people who like this kind of stuff.
One of the highlights is the buckwheat pancakes and homemade maple syrup. They are so good and huge. This is the main thing we go for every year. We love the pancakes. My grandson was talking all week about going to eat pancakes.
This red tractor has seats on each side and petals for people sitting to operate it. My grandson was too short to reach the petals. Which was amusing.
