Smash Smash Smash

Shattered Glass.

I’ve worked so hard to defend this.

Case protecting my heart.

Shards cut it open.

Forcing me awake.

But I’m already dead.

I am a creature.

Not human like you.

The stories you heard.

All hold some truth.

So, I repeat again.

I am not human like you.

Tell me why you’re here.

While I sit and rebuild.

The thing you chose to shatter.

To go in for the kill.

Bang Bang Bang

Your bullets hold no weight.

I am not human.

You will never relate.

You love to see me bleeding.

Does it turn you on?

Exposing the heart of a creature.

A xe of the dawn.

I’ll choose a stronger material.

This time, I’m sure it will last.

So, my heart can beat in peace.

While the others like you walk past.

It’s not long before I hear it.

It’s the sound of something breaking.

Something other than glass.
