Why I Never Told My Wife I Was a Nudist
An honest exploration of secrecy, fear, and love
Background
I got married when I was very young, even before I started my first job. I met my wife in an exhibition, we worked on the same art project when I was 23 years old. We worked together for about two weeks, and I fell in love with her from the start.

I come from a religious family.
And my wife… comes from an even more religious one.
I loved her because we were the same.
Both of us respected our religion and took it very seriously.
She wears Hijab with an Abaya. (Abaya is the black long cover that women in Islam wear to hide the body features.)
Of course, my idea about nudity was the same since I was a child, I never felt the need to wear anything. But with religion, I had many contradictions inside my head that I never knew how to reconcile. I never wanted my wife to take off her Abaya or Hijab. It was part of our religion, so it had to stay.
