I have worked in as a dancer, stripper, skimpy waitress for the past fifteen years — all over the globe. Here are the top business strategies for retaining customers, growing your income, and your business, no matter how big or small it is currently.

1. Confidence Is Key

Confidence isn’t just a personal trait, it’s a powerful business strategy, especially in today’s hyper-visible, brand-driven, and competitive world. When I first started dancing, I had the lowest self-esteem ever. I was a hot little emo girl, don’t get me wrong, but I had no value of myself. Therefore, I found it difficult to get dances and make tips. I used to watch girls that did not have as good of ‘product’ as me (the product being themself) and wondering why they were making so much more than me. Customers don’t always buy the best product — they buy from the person or brand that makes them feel good, excited, and secure. I was projecting what I was feeling, and that was not confident, and the customers, mirrored my energy. Confidence makes people feel safe to say ‘yes’ to whatever product or service you are selling.

2. Para-social Client…
