The Gift of Dionysius: Strange Symbolism, David Berkowitz, and the Wendy Savino Tip on 18-May-2024

Something very strange is going on — and it’s happening right in front of our eyes. The deeper I’ve gone into this research, the more it’s become impossible to ignore: the dates matter. And I’m not just talking about anniversaries or birthdays. I’m talking about symbolic, ritualistic, and esoteric timing — the kind that aligns with ancient gods, pagan festivals, and occult calendars. The kind of analysis the FBI and Homeland Security use when conducting events analysis.

Let’s talk about what just happened on May 18, 2024.

A Tip on a Pagan Feast Day?

On May 18, Manny Grossman — known for his YouTube channel The Grossman Files — submitted a tip to the NYPD suggesting that David Berkowitz (yes, the Son of Sam) was responsible for the 9-April-1976 shooting of Wendy Savino.

But here’s where it gets weird: May 18 is no ordinary day.

According to the WFT Pagan Studies calendar, May 18 marks the — the Greek god of wild nature, music, and male fertility. Pan isn’t just a mythological afterthought. He’s deeply tied to rites of masculine transition and spiritual chaos. He’s also often equated with Dionysius, the Greek/Roman god of madness, ecstasy, and ritual. These deities aren’t just archetypes — they represent states of being.

So let me ask you: Why was this tip submitted on this day, of all days?

Coincidence?

And Then There’s June 1…

That’s the date the NYPD’s own reportedly selected for their official press release on the Wendy Savino case. And what else happens on June 1?

It’s .

You can’t make this up. A suspect is implicated on a pagan festival tied to chaos and masculinity, and then the public gets the official word on the man’s own birthday?

This feels less like criminal investigation and more like an occultic ritual unfolding in real-time.

“Thanks for the Gift of Dionysius”

Here’s where it gets personal. Manny Grossman has, on multiple occasions, posted to me directly the cryptic phrase on his community page:

“Thanks for the gift of Dionysius.”

These posts have since been removed. If Manny Grossman denies making them, this blog will be updated with screenshots of the comments.

Why? What was he referring to? It obviously wasn’t an inside joke — perhaps a coded reference to something deeper? Something involving knowledge he shouldn’t have had? With these new revelations, that phrase hits differently. It reads like a one-eyed wink from behind the Oz curtain.

Grossman needs to explain this. Period. And so does the NYPD.

The Timeline That Doesn’t Lie

Let’s line it all up:

  • April 30, 2024: The first whiteboard session on Wendy Savino appears on The Grossman Files, featuring retired First Grade Detective Mike Lorenzo, meaning they had been preparing for weeks before the podcast aired. Per sources, since about 13-April.
  • May 18, 2024: Grossman reports the Wendy Savino tip to the NYPD — on Pan’s feast day, equivalent to Dionysius
  • June 1, 2024: NYPD schedules press release — Berkowitz’s birthday.
  • From November 2024 until recently, Grossman posts multiple now-deleted community posts referring to Dionysius directly to me.

If this is all just coincidence, then it’s one hell of a cosmic joke.

The Berkowitz Letters and Law Enforcement’s Quiet Access

Here’s another piece of the puzzle: Law enforcement has subpoenaed Berkowitz’s correspondence related to Wendy Savino.

Let that sink in.

They’ve had access to his letters, some of which I’ve personally exchanged with him, long before this May 18 tip. None of these e-mails are relevant to the Wendy Savino investigation or the subpoena.

So… was Manny Grossman encouraged by law enforcement to make the report on that specific day? Which begs the question, why would a YouTube podcaster be given access to Department of Corrections mail from law enforcement? If so, does the New York Department of Corrections and the state of New York condone this type of policing, handing over personal correspondence to a YouTube podcaster? Or is Grossman personally into the ritualistic occult?

Was this a genuine tip… or a coordinated public ritual disguised as a criminal breakthrough for people to try to make a name for themselves?

Because ongoing research on the mishandling of the Wendy Savino case by retired first grade detective Mike Lorenzo, retired cold case detective Robert Klein, the NYPD, and Manny Grossman with The Grossman Files isn’t looking so good.

What’s Really Going On Here?

Since July 2022, I’ve been researching the symbolism and date theory behind many of these cases. I’ve corresponded with Berkowitz himself discussing my theory. I waited until November 2024 to publish my first article through Medium, even though I had already started putting the pieces together on my own.

Now, with recently analyzing this tip, the timing, the symbols, the feasts, the birthdays, and the “Gift of Dionysius”… it’s impossible to stay silent. Especially a year to the day the tip was turned in.

This isn’t just about re-opening the Wendy Savino case for victim closure. This is about time manipulation, ritual exposure, and the ongoing influence of the NYPD related to mishandling the Son of Sam case since 1977.

There’s something much bigger at play.

And I intend to find out what it is.
