This is a brief tutorial on driving do’s and don’t’sesses.* Just reading this does not make you a good driver, but it’s a start.

Speed Kills

Do not go too fast or too slow. How fast? The true speed limit is the posted speed limit plus four miles per hour.
There is nary a cop in the world who will pull you over for going 4 mph over the posted speed limit. Therefore, that is the real speed limit. I have heard of isolated instances of tickets for 5 mph over, but I suspect the cop was giving the offender a break, and they were actually going faster than plus 5. Plus 4 is mostly safe and expedient.
If you are in a hurry, the fines usually increase in increments of five mph. If you are going plus 11, you might as well go plus 14, because the fine is probably the same. Laws vary in different locations, and you might want to check yours if you are going to drive at all.
Most states have a plus X speed which can send you directly to jail. In Arizona, criminal speeding is anything over 20 mph above the posted speed limit. I am totally okay with stupid-fast drivers going directly to jail. Just please don’t run over anybody on the way.
And do not go too slow. Unless it is Saturday morning and everybody is looking for yard sales…
