The Ode To Nature

Where life gets better near a small, delicate flower

This flower photo presents the new post, “Ode to Nature,” by Art and Cupcakes. It’s a poetic story of happiness, gratitude, and simple living.

Today, I looked outside my window and saw beautiful cherry blossom petals covering the ground like spring snow. I thought how blessed we are to see this beauty, admire Nature, and enjoy the little (and big) moments.

We like to celebrate great wins and cherish ambitious plans, we like the tangible results and our piece of the pie.

But what is it compared to this gift of LIFE when we just walk beneath the trees, look at the pristine deep-blue sky, and savor every moment?

It’s a blessing to roam outside on a warm, sunny day, inhale the fresh spring air, and feel happy. It’s a blessing to be alive and admire this beauty, something we all could be grateful for.

Gratitude. It’s something we always learn from Nature.

But it’s not the only lesson for us, detached and weird humans.

Spring is a charming time that reminds us of Nature’s splendor. Each delicate flower is a perfection: simple but hard to describe, real but fleeting.

Each flower exists happily; we humans should also learn this art of simple, happy living.

When we are always valuable just because we exist.

When we enjoy every day and meet every moment with a grateful heart.

Nature lives, doesn’t rush, and doesn’t postpone anything; everything happens at the right time. The flowers open their delicate petals in the morning to greet the sun, nod to the wind happily, and make this world a better place.

Sometimes, we postpone happiness and think we’ll catch on later when the moment is right, things’ll get better, or some other day.

Some other day is no day :(

Why should we wait?

Let’s be happy TODAY, NOW.

Sometimes, I feel a little bit down and go to Nature to relax and improve my mood.

It happens to all of us, even the most decisive, resilient, hardcore, energetic, etc.

We can get busy with something to distract ourselves, fight negative thoughts, and use many techniques to regain positivity and the ‘glass half full’ mentality.

But Nature heals best; it’s always good to walk outside and admire the endless blue sky and everything it generously offers us for our pleasure and inner balance.

Why don’t we pause social media, cellphones, and laptop activity to STEP OUTSIDE and enjoy a wonderful spring day?

For our pleasure, wisdom, and happiness.
