Have you ever faced that embarrassing moment when everybody in the room thinks a certain (not so nice) way about you because you couldn’t hold back and blurted out your personal, possibly radical and unpopular views on a controversial topic? Maybe you had a heated debate with someone that drew everybody’s attention and some of them commented slyly, things like —

“Oh I have been there but I EVOLVED from there way back!”

Do they have any good points against it?

“It will shut her up if I ask her XYZ but let me enjoy the DRAMA”

They think it’s a swordplay. They may know something enlightening or it may be a careless egoistic stance.

“All this discussion is BULLSH*T”

Did they ask what impact are you trying to create with doing all this conversation?

“She doesn’t have to be THIS outrageous”

Whether you are coming from a space of ignorance or knowledge, you can a bit more empathetic to her.
