Dana White’s New Year

Slaps that was heard all over social media.

So why not use this as a lesson on Twitter. Why I love it. And what it can teach those of us that wants to learn.

So here goes another rant.

It all began with a Tweet. This time it was on a post, of a man I knew nothing about, so had to look him up.

Of course he is well know. America. The world is so crazy for their sports they willing to go to the World Cups in soccer. In stadiums bud on the blood, sweat and bones on the slaves that died, so they could enjoy a ball game.

And we dare to call the Aztecs blood thirsty barbarians? This was such a human right violation, it’s disgusting. It’s low. And so many went. So many watched. We no better today in our pursuit of something to worship and hold to the statue of gods. They are not heroes if they play for FIFA. They are not heroes for playing on fields green from bone marrow of slaves. The good they do in the world, is to wash of the blood money they gained, all in the name of a sport.

That said. I get it. We all victim of this fucking system. But if we don’t fight for Justice. Then what the hell is rhe point? Justice is the root of everything good. Aristotle, a philosopher well known even today, was obsessed with virtues. And in the end. He did like mathmaticians did and do. What great philosophers did and do.

He builded it all down to one simple quote:

It is what Humanity is and has always fought for.

No one wants Law and Order.
We all want Justice.

I can debate this simply and easy. But few care.to change their mind without doing some thinking. So do so.

That takes me to lesson of Twitter for today I saw this:

Sure looks bad. But I don’t know the context, I got a very different perspective from Dana White. Nor do I see this as more than…well what replied to this:

Hmm old Twitter account. Still don’t have old Covid account back. The one Ted Cruz got banned on old Twitter for trolling him about Uvalde.

Need to change that older photo…

Then I did what I often do. I read the comments, and oh my. Let’s have a look of the many kinds of people on Twitter:

Some sure were quick to turn this racial. Weird.

Here is a nasty truth that is overlooked in the history of slavery. Without the support of white folks. Blacks would likely still be slaves. The vast majority of people don’t want slavery. That includes the vast majority of whites.

Blacks has held slaves throughout history. Just not in America. So before we go all racial on every issue. Take a break and see. Would this apply to any race?

A wife hitting her hand, that then hit her back. Is then defending by people of his own race. Yeah. Of course. Even if he had hit first. Every race would have someone that do that. It culture and it is common enough so we have all seen it.

We can change that. By learning. We learn only what we think about.

Next came this gem:

Like wow. Where to begin. Three tweets in a row. All with vast different personal touch. I start with the first one.

Wow 145 likes so fast. Seriously? I don’t know the man, I can get from this level of anger, he is not well liked. And from the amount of those votes, I am guessing he is a Republican.

Sure. Get the police involved in this, to me it’s personal in public. I really don’t think this is arrested and resign kind of punishment I would call Justice.

Like you skipping so many parts. Innocent until found guilty, right?

For one. She hit first. Another this was not fist and rage attacks. Then there is, none of know wtf happened. Seriously they are adults. If they can’t work it out. They need help.

But this first Tweet had already found him guilty.

Second Tweet. Well said my man. And at 156 likes. Twitter win this one.

Third Tweet. Come on. I can’t stand Trump. Or his policies, and I can’t understand why so many fall for the lies. But they do.

But none of the people I know that voted Trump would think this is OK. I known and seen them drunk plenty of time. This is not a Trumper kind of thing only

This shit happens around the world. And again. We do not even know the story behind this. And the fact still is. She hit first, and he did not come at her with rage. Anger maybe.

If this goes to any court, I don’t see this go anywhere. To me, that would in this case be Justice. Unless there is more to the story than this.

Last Tweet was …

Innocent enough question, we all too lazy sometimes to wanting to do even a Google search. A quick answer on Twitter can surprising be better.

But the first reply is a warning. Very fast to attack a certain group…all of us?

His blunder being that Dana White had already admitted it and apologized. Like why does he need to apologize to the public? This is a personal issue between him and his wife. I do suggest counciling and actually listen to the councilor.

I learned that, so only fair I spread my Wisdom. Here is another. I still make this mistake, I am a fool and while I keep learning, I also keep make mistakes. Truth is. We all do. Some just don’t like to admit it. Some mistakes as easy to forgive, like making a tweet that judge others too fast or wrongly. Others, silly people take to their grave.

I had “my proof” right away. From the next two tweets:

Short and sweet. Also no proof.

Thank you proof.

To round it up. Don’t be so hasty to judge and condemn. Justice matter to us all, we can’t let prejudice and bad cultural habits make us make to rash and to harsh judgements.

I can’t believe I had to defend Trumpers. You guys need to think as well, don’t put everyone in the same boat. Most Americans vote how they were raised and told by cultural indoctrination. In the end, we all part of a corrupt system. The blame to why we fight so much among oversell, lies with our politicians. Both parties have done and are doing shit that needs to end. We have to get a government that actually works for the people.

Good night and happy New Year.
