The Importance of Balancing Positivity and Negativity in your Writing: Fostering Hope and Future Interest in your Writing

Any good writer should be focused on solving problems, not just highlighting problems. When writers focus on solving problems, such as healing those with mental illness, they are faced with an important task; balancing the negativity with positivity, including solutions and positive outcomes of those solutions.
Why?
If we do not generate hopefulness for our readers, they will feel brought down on multiple levels when they read your writing. It is important for writers and those in healing professions to be considerate that if someone reads their work and it is riddled with negativities and possible negative outcomes, that their audience will more than likely face negative reprocautions.
Writing is similar to sales in that way. If we focus on the problem and possible causes of the problem, followed by helpful ways to combat or fix the problem, then readers are left feeling interested in the topic and intreagued, rather than frightened, uncertain, or other emotions and feelings that might accompany negativities they might read.
