Would America Let Another 9/11 Happen Again?
Now we all know about #Neverforget. Almost anytime September 11th would pop up for years. On Instagram, Twitter. America on all news outlets would be talking about the horrors of 9/11 but never about the horrors that led to such an event happening in the first place.
Now as I look into the history between the Afghan mujahideen and America. As factions later evolved into Al Qaeda and the Taliban. It’s hard to really see what happened. But by the looks of it. The American government apparently backed the Afghan mujahideen in order to combat Soviet Influence in the region. Whatever that means I do not know. I do not know much about the Soviet Union but I do know the history of the American government and how since it’s inception. It’s goals has always been to advance the interest of white supremacist capitalism.
From one illegal settler state to another. A kinship is born. With one that’s displaced and tortured Black and Indigenous people here in the states and one that’s been actively displacing and killing Palestinians since it’s inception. One thing is clear. It doesn’t matter who the United States hurts as long as it gets what they want.
You get the point though. What I’m trying to get at is this. When things like this are done to the most oppressed group of people. When they’ve beaten down, abused and taken advantage of. Their response is either to be angry or fight back and rightfully so of course. But what’s say when the people that are being impacted do not live in this country. Being effected by American weapons and forces all the way from across the Atlantic. I think outside looking in. In the midst of the chaos it’s easy to see all of the United States as an enemy. Especially if you’re not a citizen. Cause if you’re not a citizen of the United States they probably could give less a fuck about you really. I mean you seeing it with undocumented immigrants just being tossed out the country and children being separated from families by the Trump administration and previous administrations before I’m sure. If someone has come to show you that they don’t give a rats ass about whether you are breathing or not and they themselves personally decided to fund and arm the genocide of your people. How would you react? Now if given the opportunity to strike back against the people who did it. Would you take it? I know all I would feel is anger if I saw people around me. Dying of hunger, starvation, bombs, guns. And the people that did it are living comfortably. Shit some of these people could be in your neighborhood(speaking to people that live in the States). But that’s the thing complicated situations like this make things very complicated. You have people in the States who are being oppressed by the government too and trying to fight off being colonized, on top of people outside the country facing colonization from Western European powers. Now what happens if those who are also being oppressed are caught in the crossfire. That’s called manufacturing conflict. Now instead of the colonized people fighting against their colonizer their now fighting amongst each other. And that’s why I believe deep down America would let another 9/11 like event happen again. Cause war means opportunity, which means enlistment. More soldiers. More chaos. More possibility of land and resources to be used and siphoned and labor to be taken advantage of. So be careful and act accordingly. Don’t just stand by and just let the United States feel comfortable doing what they’re doing to Palestinians, Congolese in the DRC, Haiti, Tigray, Yemen, etc…. From backing Israeli forces over Palestine, Rwandan forces in DRC, Kenyan forces in Haiti, the Ethiopian government over Tigray, attacking Yemen for fighting back against Israel. You must resist or risk becoming the colonizer. And if you do then you have no right to be angry at those outside the country for striking back against American foreign policy that’s destroyed and impacted their lives, communities, families, homes and land.
