On Jocelyn Millis’s Suspension

Dear friends,
We’re reaching out today with a heavy heart and a strong sense of purpose. Our dear friend and gifted writer Jocelyn Millis had her account suddenly suspended.
The reason seems random, as it was filed due to alleged violations related to spam and cryptocurrency schemes.
If you’ve read even a single sentence Jocelyn has written, you know how absurd that sounds.
Jocelyn writes with clarity, compassion, and a kind of fierce honesty that’s hard to come by these days.
Her work doesn’t chase trends or manipulate attention. It earns it, and every story is published with profound care and respect for others.
She writes about her creative passion and the human condition, about the quiet things that ache and matter. Her voice has become part of the collective backbone of this community.
So when we received an email from her about the suspension, it hit hard. We felt how distressed she was by this.
Let that sink in. A writer like Jocelyn, who has poured so much time, heart, and energy into this space, is now left wondering how this could have happened to her, of all people.
We know this was probably just a glitch in the system, and the Support Team will take care of it asap, and reinstate Jocelyn’s account.
But today, we send this out to clearly say that we are here to stand up for each other.
That’s what every publication in the Alchemy collective was created for; to be more than just an editorial group, to be a community.
And community means showing up when it matters.
We know filters can get it wrong, and when that happens is up to humans to step in, as we are the ones with the ability to listen and self-correct.
Jocelyn has sent out a ticket, reaching out to the support team, so that’s the first step to getting her back with us.
So now here’s what we’re asking.
