Not every fight has a reason. Some are just fueled by ego – I witnessed one last night

--

We see road rage and vehicle fights almost every day, they’ve become so common that we barely react.

But last night, one such incident made me pause and really think.

On my way home from the office, I stopped at a traffic signal and noticed two men yelling at each other. Loudly, aggressively, and with no sign of backing down.

At first glance, it didn’t look serious – no accident, no injury. Just egos clashing in the heat of the moment.

One woman was trying to hold back one of the men, while a group of friends tried calming the other.

But every time one spoke a harsh word, the other felt more provoked to speak worse.

If the signal hadn’t turned green, I genuinely feel it would’ve turned into a physical fight.

And I couldn’t help but wonder – was all that really necessary?

Why have we become so short-tempered,

So quick to anger,

So low on patience?

Is it the pressure of daily life?

A lack of emotional control?

Or are we simply forgetting the basics of empathy, respect, and composure?

This small roadside moment left a big message – it’s time to choose calm over chaos, and understanding over ego. This is what we need in life – more patience, more empathy, and more understanding.

We may not control every situation, but we can control how we respond.
