Maybe I deserve to live it—
A life that wasn’t meant to exist long.
I never received love or felt what it meant to be loved until they came into my life.
When I joined college, she wasn’t the first girl to be my friend.
But she was the one who stayed till the end.
At 17, I stepped into that so-called hostel.
Most felt it like a jail—except us.
We never knew it would become our second home.
Everyone carried a different vibe.
Some came to erase their past,
Some to start anew,
Some to explore, to learn, to achieve, to live, to make friends.
Some, like me, were just... blank.
It was a new phase of life.
I never thought it would change me forever—
Help me discover the unknown parts of myself.
For the first few days, we all got to know each other.
No judgments, no fights, no problems.
Days passed.
Maybe a month.
Nights of endless chit-chatting, teasing each other, forming a gang,
Senior friends, hostel food...
It all started to feel like home.
