Write A Catalyst — 40,000 Followers And Some Updates on Adding New Writers
We added another 5K followers in less than two weeks.
A lot has happened since the Medium revoke and suspension is still in the air, while most are waiting for their payouts.
Growth is steady and we are adding new writers still but at a much slower pace as we mentioned almost each time we have a milestone post. (will share a new way to be added as a writer)
First, an update that one of our editors is suspended again, () which isn’t good at all but we will all wish him the best as he is still young and has a long road ahead.
We are also removing 1 non-active editor to have room for new editors as many have asked me multiple times but I haven’t had the chance to review them. (editor requirements change and are added as needed)
There is a limit of 30 spots for editors but they may reapply when if they return one day.
We will be removing:
— Last active in April.
She was the early-day supporter of the pub and I haven’t got to thank her enough before she went inactive and her About Me Story:
On the brighter side, we will be adding one new editor who has been supporting the Publication since August.
— he’s an entrepreneur focusing on Self Help, Entrepreneurship, Motivation, Business, Travel, Health, and Fitness.

Milestone for October
Although we have achieved the highest views and reads for last month, what is notable is the last week of October things started to slow down.
Breaking half a million views is a big deal for us, and getting over 300K in reads is also the highest we have achieved.
The read ratio compared to the entire September was a bit lower in October but is still intact.
291K/486K = 59.87% September Read Ratio
322K/546K = 58.97% October Read Ratio
On the last update, we did add a new metric to measure growth, for this one I’m not going to give you too many details on the numbers, as we can wait for the month to end and do an update then.
As I know for many their reads and traffic have been due to suspension of accounts or other factors. What I can share with you is the current growth of the pub for this month so far.
Our read ratio has dropped quite a bit with average reads dropping as well.
70K/127K = 55.11% Read Ratio. (6.54% drop)
10K to 8.75K Average Reads a Day. (12% drop)
Yet that was the first week of the month as we can see we are starting to pick up some stream in the last 2 days with 9.8K and 9.3K reads.

For the writers that have not been added, you will have to wait a bit longer as our publishing hours are now dragging over 24 hours for some articles.
