Why Lose When We Can Both Win?

--

You know life doesn’t have to be the lose-win situation we like to embrace so much.

It’s kind of like saying that we don’t want the other person to win. I believe that everyone should have an opportunity to win. While there are easier ways to win (and hard), there is still work to be put into it.

You might have noticed something by the way. Many situations prosper a different type of winning. For example, we can’t say that both football teams won, and just say “Oh, it’s a draw guess that’s it.”

It would be funny to think of it that way, but I’m talking about the situations with people in life!

The Reality Of The World

In the way the world is presented, there is only greed and selfishness. We lack the empathy to truly care for the other person.

For example, you might want someone to lose in:

  • debates
  • video games
  • conversations
  • arguments
  • job raises
  • money
  • etc.

Or it could be the opposite way around. Instead of win/lose, we might think lose/win. We might let other people stomp on us without our permission and it hurts our self-value as well.
