Why Is Every Writer’s MPP Status Suddenly ‘Unknown’?

I haven’t been very active on Medium over the past few days because I’ve been sick.

Writing and reading took a backseat during this time, and I barely managed to keep up with anything.

Last night, I felt a little better and decided to read a few stories. That’s when I came upon an article by

“My MPP Status turned to “Unknown”

Since I hadn’t been active recently, I had no idea what this was all about or that so many writers were facing the same issue.

Out of curiosity (and just to assure myself everything was fine), I decided to check my MPP status.

It didn’t go as planned.

To my surprise, my status showed “Unknown” as well.

This might have made many people freak out and it would have made me too.
