I think, by now, most of us are familiar with the controversies surrounding Diddy. From the rapper who first won my heart with “Senorita,” he’s now someone I look at with disbelief and frustration. The shift in my feelings from admiration to near disgust happened within seconds after learning about some recent allegations.

Rumours about Justin Bieber, his supposed behind-the-scenes manipulation, and his close ties with Beyonce and Jay-Z are just part of an ever-expanding storyline that seems to grow more shocking by the day. It makes you wonder: Has Diddy always been this way, and we just missed it?

My love and respect for rap were largely shaped by a few fearless artists, led by Eminem. His fearlessness, lyrical prowess, and uncanny knack for being in the right are just a few reasons why he’s one of the most respected names in rap. Alongside him stand his close friends and mentors: Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, and of course, the late Tupac.

As we know, Tupac was tragically killed, and for years, I accepted this as the tragic loss of a legend in the world of gang rivalries. But then, allegations surfaced that Diddy might have been behind Tupac’s murder…
