Seven years ago, my life seemed smooth – or so I thought. Everything appeared to be going well, but deep down, I was an ungrateful, rude person, blind to the value of what I had.
Then, life threw a massive curveball my way: a health crisis that completely shattered me.
I spent the next few years struggling to bounce back, not just physically but mentally. It was a battle with depression that I never saw coming, and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t escape it.
I turned to psychiatrists, and medication offered temporary relief. But once the course ended, the depression hit harder than before. That’s when I realized that relying solely on external solutions wasn’t enough.
Something deeper was needed. That’s when meditation entered my life.
At first, I didn’t understand what I was doing. It seemed like just sitting still and focusing on my breath. But slowly, I began to notice changes.
I had always blamed life for my troubles, but meditation made me realize something crucial: the blame needed to be turned inward. The struggles, the pain – they weren’t the problem. The problem was how I was reacting to them.
