We Are Truly Obsessed With Escaping Reality
Have you wondered why we spend so much time finding a way to avoid reality?
Watching movies, reading books, daydreaming, art, writing, even drinking, drugs etc.
One thing they all have in common is Imagination.
The one thing we thrive off is imagination.
Because in this manmade soceity which is based on capitalism, consumerism, money, and many more issues.
It’s toxic.
It’s as if everything is set in stone and we just need to accept that.
It’s a machine that you walk through and it sucks the soul out of you.
Some of us feel soulless or people around us feel soulless.
We made a world that we can’t even enjoy.
We need to run it back 2 million years ago to one of our great ancestors called “Australopithecus sediba” maybe also being the first human.
Originating from South Africa 2 million years ago he was a member of a group that was nearly on the edge of extinction due to the dry climate and lack of fulfilling foods.
