Things I wish I knew before I turned 20!

As I look back on my teenage years and early twenties, I'm reminded of the countless lessons I learned the hard way. If only I could go back in time and give my younger self some advice! But since that's not possible, I'm sharing these lessons with you, in the hopes that you might avoid some of the mistakes I made.

If I could go back in time, I’d prioritize acquiring as many skills as possible. This is my top regret; not investing enough time in learning new skills. Now, I can see firsthand how invaluable those skills are, and I wish I had started building them earlier.

One of the most important things I wish I knew before turning 20 is that your worth isn’t defined by your relationships. Focus on building a strong sense of self-worth, and don’t let anyone else define your value.

Mental health is another crucial aspect of life that I wish I knew more about before turning 20. I wish I knew that it's okay to not be okay, and that seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Don't be afraid to prioritize your mental health, and don't hesitate to reach out for support when you need it.

Taking risks and stepping outside your comfort zone is another essential lesson I learned the hard way. I was so afraid of failure that…
