The Moment of Truth
I held the blood test results in my trembling hands, staring at the bold numbers that exceeded normal limits:
Triglyceride: 8.410 mmol/L (Ref: <1.81)
Cholesterol: 7.45 mmol/L (Ref: 3.37–5.18)
