Is Something Wrong with Medium?
I can no longer see the views or number of reads for my stories — has anyone else noticed this?
It looks like everything is not going well at Medium. There are stories of falling earnings and writers planning to leave the platform.
I am relatively new considering the established writers who have seen hey days on the platform. I learned there was a time when writers used to get bonuses for their hard work. Seems those days are long over and that indeed is disappointing for new writers.
I took all these stories with a pinch of salt and was not very concerned as In the past, I have read stories of writers who left and came back.
I have also read stories that sounded death knell for the platform but it is here helping writers share their voice for years.
Every platform goes through ups and downs and I am sure for Medium this looks like that phase.
When you read something on the platform you do not easily believe what people are saying but when you experience it first-hand, you realize what is being said has truth in it.
