I Left Blogger for Medium — And Here’s Why I’ll Never Go Back

I spent the past year on Blogger.

Every evening, after my lessons, I could sit with my laptop, open up Blogger, and jot down my ideas — about history, life, books, and dreams. I was a writer, but something felt off.

No views.
No interaction.
No audience.
Just. silence.
I began doubting everything.

Was I writing so horribly?
Was anyone ever reading, to begin with?
And then, three months ago, I came across Medium.

I was skeptical, best-case. “Another website?” I thought. “Why bother to go there?”

But curiosity will take you to doors that you never thought you’d be walking through.
And this door led to a whole new world

The Day My Voice Was Heard

I published a no-frills, plain-old Medium post — no frilly bells and whistles, no-nonsense thinking. And wouldn’t you know it? People read it. They clapped. They commented. They connected.

My words weren’t in nowhere land anymore.
They were touching the hearts of actual readers.
