I Don’t Rewatch Series Except…
The one show I can watch a hundred times and still giggle at
I don’t usually rewatch series because once I know what’s going to happen, the excitement kind of takes a dip. I hardly ever watch any show more than once — maybe twice, max.
But then there’s Best of Luck Nikki.
Some episodes? I’ve probably watched them more than ten times.

If the word “repeat” exists in my watchlist vocabulary, it’s solely because of this one show. And if “binge-watch” had a face, it’d probably be me on a study leave day (in between exams), sitting and giggling, watching the same thing happen for the 100th time in Dolly’s and her family’s life while stressing about my own.
I was just a little kid when I first watched this series, and the excitement I felt back then and the excitement I feel now… I doubt there’s any difference.
There’s something so comforting about it. The jokes are simple, the situations are relatable, and the characters feel so familiar, like I personally know them.
It’s not just nostalgia — it’s something more.
Is this what people mean when they talk about the feeling of home?
