How You Can Get a First at University with a Few Easy Tweaks

The transition between finishing college and starting university is like eating vegetarian for 40 years, then waking up one morning and choosing to eat meat.
It differs especially when it comes to essay writing. Here is the steps I took to get me a first.
The ingredients
The biggest hurdle at university is passing assignments. In college I was given the ingredients of writing essays and told to use Point, Evidence, and Explanation to structure my paragraphs.
Fast forward to university, I was shown the end product of an assignment and told to produce something similar.
It was like being given a finished cake and ordered to produce a similar cake, with no knowledge of the method that goes into the cake or quantity of the ingredients.
Without copying the cake completely I had to somehow make the essay my own.
