My September Stats and How Medium Proved Me Wrong After One Month In
I wish Medium could prove you wrong too!
In the first month of joining the Medium Partner Program, I earned $187.61 with 6 articles. This is a very promising result because I didn’t expect much when I enrolled. I even thought I was dreaming when I saw that the country I live in was included in the list of nations where Medium expanded the program this year.
However, it’s not all about the money. The most important thing is that after joining the Partner Program, I realized I was wrong about many things.
“I don’t have anything interesting or special to share.”
That’s what I used to think. I’m not an expert in any field; I’m just an undergraduate student. My life isn’t particularly remarkable. I’ve had a quiet life up to this point. It’s a blessing, but it also shows that I haven’t ventured much beyond my comfort zone. So, every aspect of my life has been quite monotonous.
But Medium changed the way I think.
My first article behind the paywall, which also happened to be the first one boosted, and the first to surpass the $100 mark, was simply a review of the memoir Educated. And the second most-read article was just a post sharing my advice…
