How Google’s NotebookLM Transformed My Studies
Discovering the AI tool that accelerates learning — and pondering who controls its power
I recently went back to school to finish my business administration masters degree. But because of my schedule constraints and the demands of my work, I had a lot of challenges. I therefore looked for a tool to aid in my understanding and summarization of research publications. The effectiveness of , Google’s recently released artificial intelligence application that serves as a personal assistant for researchers, astounded me.
With two extra capabilities, the NotebookLM tool gives you the same ability to ask any inquiry as ChatGPT. Firstly, the tool makes use of your own data, so you can mold its “mind” around the information and sources you select. The second is that, using the information you gave, it can create a realistic podcast conversation!
I experimented with the program multiple times and was amazed at how, unlike ChatGPT, its working concept goes beyond just answering queries and holding out for more ones from users. It functions something like a teacher who constructs questions based on student interactions, suggesting questions and summarizing files and articles in a variety of formats.
