Having a Bad Day?
It’s not too late to switch things up
Where is the moment we needed the most?
You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost
They tell me your blue skies fade to gray
They tell me your passion’s gone away

Anyone remember that song “Bad Day” by Daniel Power? Whenever I think of a “one-hit wonder,” I think of him and that song. But it’s a good song, though.
We’ve all bad days.
You might be having one right now.
Tell me, did your morning start the way you envisioned? Or did you hit the snooze button, skip breakfast, shave/apply makeup in the car, and then get yelled at by your boss when you got into the office?
Work from home?
How’s that going?
Are you diligently working on your most important tasks and taking advantage of the free time you have or are you procrastinating and wasting time (like on Medium)?
Stop and think.
If this goes on for another few hours where will you be? Will you go to bed tonight dissatisfied with your day? “Oh well, I’ll have a better day tomorrow?” Will you stay up late once that second-wind motivation kicks in?
