Don’t Let a Little Rain Stop You
The key to success is becoming “weatherproof”
Have you made as much progress this year as you intended all the way back in January?
Did you meet your goals?
Keep your resolutions?
Build and maintain those habits?
If not, why not?
I call it “rainy-day” syndrome. When the weather is nice and the sun’s out, we wake up early and energized, we go for a walk, we even feel like working out.
We put together a nice streak of four, five days of this.
And then we snooze past our alarm. That’s odd. But then we realize it felt earlier than it was because it was darker outside.
Clouds.
Everything is gloomier. A light rain starts falling right when you’re about to go for a run.
“Maybe tomorrow.”
That’s what you say.
Your streak is broken.
The weather is nicer tomorrow but you’re busy and you’re out of the habit. And then when it rains the next day? You skip again…
