Consistency is Boring!
Starting something new is exciting, but later on, it feels burden.
We’re on the same page when it comes to starting something new, maybe it’s work-related, health-related, or even sports-related.
We start with hope, curiosity, and excitement, like everything feels like a dream with full of energy, but later on, it feels like a burden because the excitement fades when you start doing the same thing every time.
You want to skip first, but then you don’t want to quit, so you start with slow skipping that makes you less guilty.
But then it turns into two days, then three, and before you know it, a whole week has gone by, and your goal is collecting dust on the shelf of unfinished dreams.
Later on, you feel awful. Guilt creeps in.
You start beating yourself up, convincing yourself that you didn’t really want to achieve that goal in the first place.
Or we can say it’s just one more item on the list of things you started but never finished, another piece of “Proof” that you’re someone who can’t stick to anything.
Trust me, I’ve been there- more times than I care to admit.
Whether it was a small goal like folding my clothes and putting them in the same place or a big…
