Feeling Burnt Out? Here’s a Writer’s Reset
“Babe, this writing is work. It’s damn stressful.”
That’s what a fellow freelance writer told me during a recent chat.
She wasn’t wrong.
Deadlines, edits, rewrites, client expectations — it’s easy for writing to feel like a 9–5 job that doesn’t end when the clock strikes five.
And yet, in that moment, I realized something: I didn’t fall in love with writing just to make it another chore.

Writing Isn’t Just a Job. It’s a Journey into Yourself.
Writing lets you explore your thoughts, find your voice, and give form to ideas that may have otherwise floated away.
It’s one of the rare art forms where you can literally watch your mind unfold on the page. That’s ethereal.
