Earlier this morning, I thought I was not reading enough books nowadays.

Thought was enough; I jumped from the bed and took the first book that I could get my hands on.

The book transcended me to a valley of memories and characters that is nostalgic in itself.

I had a brief reminiscence of the time when I got introduced to this very intriguing and amazingly brilliant character of a man holding a magnifying glass and smoking a pipe that brought back the charm of a detective alive.

The very own creation of Arthur Canon Doyle that remains immortal in the hearts of every young adult sparks a sense of curiosity in every case he solves.

none other than Sherlock Holmes.

I was introduced to this character in one of my literature classes in school; merely a chapter was enough to ignite a sense of deep curiosity about how that particular case would end, and once finished, I was left yearning for more.

Today, holding a book that profoundly depicts his famous cases, I was all thrilled and couldn’t hold my excitement again like those good old days.
