A Ruby Sees Wonder, Not Despair

--

This photo was made with some experimental liquids as milk, water paint and oil. I’ve made this with a friend and we had so much fun doing it. The surprise of the reactions thought the different material was both charming and changeling. I truly recommend everyone to try something like this, let’s share the different results. Have fun using this picture.

1. Inspiration is everywhere if you just look. Even a headless mannikin in a mall can be inspiring. I asked a man carrying one what he intended to do with it. (A random interview and further fodder for a story.)

He said, “It came from a store that went out of business and that it would be for Halloween and used in his costume. It’d be the accessory. I didn’t understand why he wanted to dress it up when the thing needed a head.

He said,”It has to be scary.”

“Why? My spirits aren’t scary.”

(It’s what RUBY from my magic realism series often says and it is my sentiment as well. I think there is far too much dark imagery and dark programming in our entertainment and in our literature.)

2. A bee can be inspiring.

A bee buzzed by me as the mannikin wielding man lamented that Halloween has to be scary.

I bit my lip, stifling my anger and watched bees mushroom out of the manikin’s belly.

The man dropped the mannikin and hopped from one leg to the other as he swatted at the bees which only made them angrier.

3. What RUBY experienced with the bees perhaps is kinetics.

They felt her energy field if not just words; they heard her.

But how could bees respond to our thoughts? It’s all a sensory experience.)

4. RUBY remembered the bees after a doctor’s appointment.

The day a doctor gave her a shot she ran out of their office and down five flights of stairs and out to the parking lot just to feel the air and to hear the bees buzzing. They seemed to call to the flowers in a note lower than the ones they made to themselves, and the flowers quivered as if in acknowledgement.

Maybe that’s what being a seer meant the ability to register notes lower than most normal folks.

It works in reverse too.

5. There’s a parallel in everything. Our perceptions here may also be perceived there.

Think of a colorful digital clock for understanding and widening of your perceptions. Imagine a colorful clock between pink and purple that can’t make up its mind about colors and digits.

A SEER here and there would notice all the hues in between pink and purple and a store clerk somewhere in the mall would become a bit anxious about not seeing digits in the clock and would miss REALLY SEEING the pretty colors.

This is but one of the insights and riddles from the Ruby Mystic World Series.
