5 Ways To Get More Engagement As A Writer
How I consistently write more without burning out
There has been much time in life spent in a situation like this, peering at an empty page, a blank brain having no idea where to start or how to clear that all-too-honest to-do list. Writing can be obstructive creatively, but it doesn’t have to be.
Being a productive writer is more than just getting over a block in writing. It’s also about creating the right conditions for creativity to melt. I have developed a few habits over the years that keep me in the race, push me to get much more done, and ultimately keep me from burning out.
Let’s dive into 5 strategies I use to boost my productivity:
1. Create a Dedicated Writing Space
Where you write matters. The place where you work affects both your focus and creativity. Make an atmosphere that your mind must acquiesce to in order to get serious about writing. Find a distraction-free zone that meets your writing needs, whether it is a cozy corner of your home, a local café, or a dedicated room.
For instance, I have just one space where I write. Now, my mind gets into writing mode very fast. You will find yourself slipping into being productive simply because of the routine of your surroundings.
