Tragedy

Live within the questions

There are moments when I drown from all the questions
an irony for the starvation of answers
a frozen hourglass of not knowing

Yet what good is to unfurl the budding of violets
or to stretch my growing wing bones
to break the glass
only for the sand to slip through my fingers

And that freedom comes in learning
to live within the questions
and that the tragedy is not to live now
