I invented a game that proves the invisibility of women
A couple of nights ago, I was hanging out with a couple of friends. We were drinking and having a sweet, semi-intellectual conversation. At one point, I did what I always do and mentioned that women often do not get enough credibility. One of the guys in the group objected to me fiercely and told me that my argument was wrong. He said that instead of women putting themselves at the front, they tend to hide behind their oppression.
I often encounter that primitive argument and try to explain the person(usually a man) in front of me using all my knowledge. But this strategy seems inefficient most of the time.
When he brought the idea to the table, it hit me immediately. I told him and the rest of the people, then let’s play a game…
A game that I invented right at that moment. A drinking game…
Rules are simple…
I ask questions like
- Name five female scientists globally famous.
- Name five female writers globally famous.
- Name five female directors globally famous.
- Name five female football players globally famous.
