When the World Was Falling Apart, They Still Said ‘Yes’

I’ve seen some wild proposal stories in my time, like the one where a guy proposed to his girlfriend during a mid-air emergency or the couple who got married in a flood relief camp after their entire town was submerged.

Seeing these strange proposals got me thinking: what if hope is like that?

A little thing, sometimes buried under the rubble, but somehow finds a way to shine through no matter what.

This month’s writing prompt, The Hope Jar, reminded me of the times in my life when I’ve found hope in the most unlikely places.

But, more than that, it made me reflect on how we cling to hope, how we seek it when life feels uncertain, and how we can pass it on to others.

It’s about finding the strength to keep going, even when everything seems to be falling apart. And if you need an example, just look at these incredible stories.
