This Activity Helped My Anxiety More Than Any Medication
If you suffer from anxiety, I highly recommend you incorporate cold plunging into your daily routine.
If you had told me a year ago that I would willingly submerge myself in a tub filled with ice at a shocking 38 degrees to make myself feel better, I would have called you crazy. Today, I willingly wake up early on Sunday mornings to do it.
If you suffer from anxiety, depression, and panic attacks, I highly recommend you incorporate cold plunging into your daily routine. I instantly felt the benefits the first time I tried it.
In March 2023, I was browsing Instagram and found a page for a local group that hosts pop-up cold plunging events in Pittsburgh (@mindfuelmethod). I kept seeing videos on social media of health experts and celebrities like Dana White, Joe Rogan, and Lady Gaga raving about the benefits, so I wanted to give it a try.
I’ve always been open to trying anything that has the potential to make me feel better.
Since a young age, I have always lived daily with some level of anxiety. Some days and weeks are worse than others, but no matter what, the anxiety is there at some level.
