I thought giving up sugar would be no big deal. I was wrong. By Day 2, I was sweating through my sheets. By Day 5, I could smell a croissant from across the street. But by Day 14? I felt like I had swapped out my brain for a newer, sharper model.

Let me ask you something:
When was the last time you went 24 hours without eating sugar?

  • Not dessert.
  • Not a soda.
  • Not a spoon of honey in your tea.

I mean zero added sugar.

Nothing. Nada.

If you’re like most people, the answer is... never.

That was me too.

I used to think I had a healthy diet. I didn’t drink soda.

I ate oatmeal.

I chose "low-fat" yogurts and whole-grain cereals.
