Your Unwashed Dishes Failed The Job Interview
Because you didn’t love them
It’s the start of a new year, and for many of us, that means reflecting on our lives, choices, and where we’re headed.
Often, these moments of introspection don’t just bring up the big, life-altering questions — they also shine a light on the small, everyday habits we’d rather ignore.
You’ve left a pile of unwashed dishes in the sink. No big deal, right?
Except, maybe it is.
I grew up in a house full of kids and a lot of stuff.
My mom was diligent about cleaning, but no amount of effort could completely keep up with our talent for chaos. Toys and clothes somehow always found their way out of their places, sprawling comfortably in every corner of the house.
