POETRY

A New Mission for Hope.

Hope has been sucked into the vacuum of space
After it dropped off the edge of the flat earth.

Finding itself caught up in the event horizon
Holding on for dear life only for Voyager to come along
Knocking it into the hole of a diminished reality.

Humanity’s last act to see hope was finally delt with good and proper.
They knew that machine would come in useful one day.

I suspect Hope has found a more friendly environment to settle,
Full of nourishment for it to blossom without the same hindrance
Its former chosen entities with who it lavished generosity upon,
Ignored Hope’s universal advise.

I miss you, dear Hope, still, I here stories
There are others just like you…

I shall continue my quest to look for your kind
In the belief of finding them. I’m sure I will.
