In today’s fast-paced world, emotional intelligence (EI) and mental health are buzzing topics. Workshops, articles, and self-help books are brimming with information on managing emotions, empathizing with others, and maintaining mental balance.

It’s an empire of knowledge, but here’s the problem—despite all the awareness, the ability to apply emotional intelligence where it truly matters is often missing.

This gap between knowing and doing is why cases of mental health challenges continue to rise. While many of us can rattle off the components of EI—self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills—when the moment calls for action, we falter.
