Why Don’t We Start Taxing Organized Religion?
If the Christian Right thinks they can dictate what books are in our public libraries, then it’s time they got taxed like the rest of us
Whatever happened to the separation of church and state? The anti-LGBTQIA+ people are mostly from the Christian Right and have already done damage by making abortions illegal under any circumstance. I know there are variations of law by state but it's mostly from the red states that are primarily church going, God fearing people.
Why are they messing with matters of the state? Let them have their say and then tax them just like every other citizen and even non-citizens do.
Churches are a great place to hide money and give to nefarious causes in the name of God (barf).
It’s past time to look into church finances and find out how their money is being used. At the very least, all denominations need to be audited randomly. If they refuse to abide by the separation of church and state, then they need to pay their fair share.
