Why doing less today will make you more productive tomorrow
As I sit in front of the computer, trying to muster the motivation to write, the thought crosses my mind: maybe the universe is sending me a message about what I should be doing.
Instead of struggling to find the correct phrasing, I should go for a bike ride with my family, find a farmers market, or simply get out and live in the moment.
The internal drive for perpetual improvement has its perks but can also become burdensome.
Success is not linear; sometimes, taking a step back allows for a leap forward in the future.
I am learning to do what I love, regardless of how productive I feel—I have earned the right to leisure time amidst seasons of stress.
