Random Act of Kindness and Benefits of Driving Topless
It was a sunny, warm day straight out of a picture book.
We had spent the day with family and were looking forward to a fun ride home in our — to us — new cabriolet. It started with rush hour traffic; stop-and-go with more stop than go. Next to the road is some park-like greenery with lanes for pedestrians and bicycles. In the background, the Rhine River fulfills the picture, reflecting the evening sun. Indeed, there are worse places to be stuck!
“Hello!” — What? Where? Who? Me?
Without stopping, a lady riding her bicycle in the opposite direction to us spread the information of an accident somewhere up ahead completely blocking the road.
We were the only car who turned — I assume everyone else kept their windows closed because of the A/C.
After a pleasant one-hour ride, we reached home pleasantly tired from a wonderful day!
