We’re part of a real phenomenon currently affecting many Americans.

So, here goes:

Limit your media consumption. Set specific times to check the news, and don’t ‘doom-scroll.’

What can we control?

Try and constructively engage in your community.

Take care of yourself with regular exercise. Engage in activities that make you happy.

Maintain a beneficial routine for yourself. Otherwise, this post-election stress can affect both your health.

Socialize with supportive people who share your ideas, political views, and values.

Worrying about future outcomes won’t change a thing.

Focus on the present, stay busy, and ask yourself what you can actively do today.

Always remember, if you can’t care for yourself, you won’t be able to care for those you love or anyone else.
