Medium Has Changed

Where did some of the publications go?

I miss Covid lockdown. I miss no pressure, expectations, less stress, and time to be. I do not miss sickness and death. I miss writing freely with minimal interruptions to my thoughts. Covid made society change towards the greater good. We had a BIG opportunity to evolve and we missed the mark.

Medium changed too. I took a two-year break from the platform and six of my published articles are now self-published due to deleted publications. I have read snippets on the deleting sprees that Medium went on, but nothing provided any value to their actions taken.

Is this an opportunity to edit and republish those articles with different publications? A thought to ponder.

You know what didn’t change? Medium’s community. Thank you to readers/writers, new and old, who kept my articles alive during my hiatus. Thank you for continuing to write. It truly is appreciated.
