The Power Of An Awesome Mix: ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ Vol 3 Evokes Old Glories For Marvel Comics
Let’s face it, Marvel movies and TV shows have had their ups and downs after “The Avengers” saga ended… Many more “downs” than “ups.”
A weird spin-off such as “Wandavision” (which started well but had a super weird “Salem witch” plot twist that ruined the whole thing) was the beginning of the end for Marvel fans. Indeed there are some good hits, “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” and “Spider-Man: No Way Home” are good examples. Right after those, it’s only downhill for the franchise.
I’m not even going to mention the “Thor — Love and Thunder” 2022 fiasco; it’s painful only to talk about that one.
However, there might still be hope for Marvel, especially for the fans, and it comes with no less than the Guardians of the Galaxy squad. The latest addition to the saga that made the whole Avengers plot make sense is a hit and keeps soaring to new heights worldwide.
The third “Guardians Of The Galaxy” film maintained its top rank in its second weekend of release, smashing box office revenues for the previous Marvel picture and surpassing the $500 million mark internationally.
